This PatchSee DirectPatch 1.2m Cat6a U/FTP LSOH patch lead is designed for short-distance, high-performance network connections that require reliable 10Gb/s capability, pair-specific shielding and rapid visual identification. Its compact 5.9mm diameter supports tight-routing scenarios such as switch-to-patch-panel links, equipment jumpers and cabinet-level interconnects where cable flexibility and minimal slack are important. Each twisted pair is individually foil-screened with an aluminium-laminated wrap that reduces internal crosstalk and provides an extra level of protection against external interference. The stranded 26AWG copper conductors enhance manoeuvrability for frequent rework, while the foam skin PE insulation ensures stable impedance across the full Cat6a frequency range. Two integrated plastic optical fibres run through the full cable length and emerge as visible fibre tips positioned behind the RJ45 plug. When illuminated using a PatchLight or PRO-PatchLight tool, these tips provide a bright, precise reference point that enables quick end identification in congested racks or low-light work areas.

The Slim PCI RJ45 plug features a moved-contact design engineered to maintain Cat6a signal performance, helping reduce disturbance at the termination point. Its 50 micron gold-plated contacts ensure consistent electrical reliability, and the tin-plated shield complements the U/FTP construction for balanced grounding behaviour. The black LSOH jacket meets stringent low-smoke and halogen-free requirements, making the assembly suitable for regulated technical installations, enterprise networks and data centre environments.
