The Maxxam Cat5e 4 pair Ethernet cables deliver Cat5e standards-compliant performance and support high-speed protocols up to 1G Ethernet, making them ideal for a wide range of IP applications. Suitable for both permanent indoor installations and outdoor use between buildings, these cables are available in shielded and unshielded versions to meet different environmental and performance requirements. They are also available with LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) and PVC outer sheath options to suit varying installation needs. The construction consists of eight colour-coded 24 AWG polyethylene-insulated conductors twisted into four pairs. With an overall diameter of just 5mm, the design supports tighter bend radii (down to 24mm after installation) and allows for more efficient cable management within limited containment spaces. Supplied in 305m Reelex boxes, the cables can be installed easily without axle stands, and the metre-by-metre marking from 305m to 1m simplifies cable tracking during installation. The range meets relevant CPR (Construction Products Regulation) requirements, ensuring compliance with fire safety standards in building installations.
