Two plastic optical fibres run the full length of the cable and terminate at visible fibre tips positioned behind the RJ45 connector. When illuminated with a PatchLight or PRO-PatchLight tool, these fibre ends glow brightly, allowing technicians to locate the remote end instantly in dense patching frames or low-light equipment areas without disrupting active connections. The Cat6 U/UTP construction uses unshielded twisted pairs to maintain excellent flexibility and reduced bulk, supporting stable Gigabit Ethernet transmission in environments where electromagnetic noise is controlled.
