This PatchSee DirectPatch 4.9m Cat6a U/FTP LSOH patch lead is designed for short to mid-length connections that require stable 10Gb/s performance, pair-specific shielding and fast optical end tracing. With a compact 5.9mm diameter, it routes cleanly through dense rack spaces while maintaining the electrical characteristics needed for consistent high-frequency transmission. Each twisted pair is wrapped in an aluminium-laminated foil screen to minimise crosstalk and help protect the link from external electromagnetic interference, making the lead suitable for network cabinets, switching environments and structured cabling systems with mixed signalling. The stranded 26AWG copper conductors provide flexibility for frequent adjustments, while the foam skin PE insulation preserves controlled impedance. Two integrated plastic optical fibres run through the entire cable length and emerge as visible fibre tips positioned directly behind the RJ45 plug. When illuminated with a PatchLight or PRO-PatchLight, these tips produce a clear, focused point of light that enables quick end identification during fault tracing, upgrades and live-rack reorganisation.

The Slim PCI RJ45 plug incorporates a moved-contact design optimised for Cat6a channel stability and fitted with 50 micron gold-plated contacts for reliable long-term conductivity. A tin-plated shield integrates with the U/FTP structure to maintain balanced electrical behaviour at the plug interface. The black LSOH jacket meets stringent low-smoke and halogen-free standards, supporting deployment in controlled technical areas and environments with enhanced fire safety requirements.
