This PatchSee DirectPatch 3.1m Cat6a U/FTP LSOH patch lead is engineered for high-performance short-distance connections where dependable 10Gb/s capability, pair-specific shielding and fast visual identification are required. Designed with a compact 5.9mm outer diameter, this lead fits easily into high-density racks and cabinets while maintaining the mechanical stability and electrical consistency expected from individually foil-screened pairs. Each twisted pair is wrapped in an aluminium-laminated shield that reduces external interference and limits crosstalk between adjacent channels, supporting reliable throughput in locations where short interconnects experience heavy electromagnetic activity. The stranded 26AWG copper conductors enhance flexibility for frequent handling, and the foam skin PE insulation maintains stable impedance across the full operating bandwidth. Two integrated plastic optical fibres run the entire cable length and terminate as visible fibre tips behind the RJ45 plug, enabling immediate end identification when illuminated with a PatchLight or PRO-PatchLight—ideal for fault tracing, cabinet reorganisation and low-light environments.

The Slim PCI RJ45 plug uses a moved-contact design optimised for Cat6a channel performance and ensures accurate conductor positioning during termination. The 50 micron gold-plated contacts maintain consistent signal integrity and provide excellent durability under repeated insertion cycles. The plug includes a tin-plated shield to complement the U/FTP construction, ensuring controlled grounding behaviour and stable electrical performance.
