This PatchSee DirectPatch 1.5m Cat6a U/FTP LSOH patch lead is engineered for short-run network connections that require reliable 10Gb/s performance, compact routing and effective pair-specific shielding. Its 5.9mm outer diameter offers a flexible, space-efficient design suited to patch panel link-outs, switch interconnects and equipment jumpers where maintaining a clean cable layout is essential. Each twisted pair is individually foil-screened with an aluminium-laminated wrap that helps reduce internal crosstalk and provides added protection from external interference, ensuring consistent performance across the full Cat6a bandwidth. The stranded 26AWG copper conductors support repeated adjustments during rack work, while the foam skin PE insulation preserves impedance stability on shorter channel lengths. Two integrated plastic optical fibres run the full length of the cable and terminate as visible fibre tips behind the RJ45 plug. When activated using a PatchLight or PRO-PatchLight tool, these tips illuminate clearly, enabling rapid end identification in busy, low-light or densely populated rack environments.

The Slim PCI RJ45 plug incorporates a moved-contact design optimised for Cat6a electrical behaviour, and its 50 micron gold-plated contacts ensure long-term durability and reliable conductivity. A tin-plated internal shield complements the U/FTP structure, maintaining balanced electrical characteristics at the connector interface. The black LSOH jacket meets stringent low-smoke and halogen-free standards, making the lead suitable for enterprise networks, data centres and areas with enhanced fire safety requirements.
